The program SIEditor serves for data entering\modification. After its start you should open already existing database or create a new one. To open the existing database select File\Open or File\Recent files or click on the button . To create a new database select File\New or click on the button . If you have modified the database, do not forget to save the changes by the command File\Save or by clicking on the button .

In case of a new database, your next step should be creation of the directory structure (or at least creation of one directory). It can be performed in the another section.

After the creation of a folder (note that you can specify various icons for different folders) you can standard import procedures. Now you can automatically import data about Audio disc (via CDDB), MP3 disc (by ID3 tags) and disc with data (reading file names and/or directories). It is important, that these import procedures do not depend on the item class, but only require availability of certain fields in this class. Thus, having created a new data type derived from CD-audio (and having added the necessary fields), you can import it as before.
