VB 6 not recognizing files under \'control\'

This is because strict checkout status. You should switch it off,
either always use "cvs edit" before modifying file. Please at this

When I use VB 6 to 'Create Project from PushOk CVS Proxy' the files come
down to my sandbox but the IDE is not recognizing the code as under
'control'. If I point WINCVS at the same sand box - WINCVS does recognize
the files as under 'control' - the CVS administration directories are
created properly.

Any ideas?
