Various bugs in SVNProxy

( SVNSCC , VS .NET, Latest, WIN 2000/XP  )

) I installed your most recent released version (8/20) and am unable to get
) it to work. First off, we are using Subversion 1.1.
Yesterday we release SVN proxy 1.1. that linked against svn 1.1.
However svn 1.1 mostly not contain any serious improvements that can
be visible in plug-in. You can download it from:
http://www.pushok.com/soft_download.php?idprogram=3
Changes are at:
http://www.pushok.com/soft_svn_history.php

) First issue: It tells me no SVNGUI executable is configured and I should
) configure it.
You not should, you _can_ configure it if you wish. This is just some
"gate" from IDE into some standalone GUI (not integrated into IDE). We
did not provide such GUI. You can use Rapid SVN for example.
) Turns out the help file is missing. This is 2nd issue.
This is corrected, but this is help not for plug-in but for SVN
itself. Help for SVN plug-in is coming. We expect to have it in week
or two. Right now you can consult help for CVS proxy which is VERY
similar in all aspects:

I installed your most recent released version (8/20) and am unable to get
it to work. First off, we are using Subversion 1.1. This subversion
version was released a couple of months back yet and you have not released
any new version of your proxy or indicated whether it will work correctly
with subversion 1.1.

At any rate, so having installed it, I launch VS.NET 2003 and select the
File menu then Source Control and then Push OK Proxy.

First issue: It tells me no SVNGUI executable is configured and I should
configure it. And then when I click okay, nothing happens. It is not
apparent how I am expected to configure it.

I try the help link in Start -> Program Files -> Push OK and it tells me
the link is bad. Turns out the help file is missing. This is 2nd issue.

So I eventually find the \"Frontend.exe\" application where it was
installed
and manage to launch it and point it to the svn.exe file in the same
directory.

Now I go back and try File -> Source Control -> PushOK Proxy. This time I
see a dos prompt pop up and go away really fast but nothing else happens.

What is the menu item for? Does it ever do anything?

So now, 3rd issue. I go to File -> Source Control and try add solution to
source control. Ah, finally I get something that looks promising.

By the way, any way you redesign this screen to be more friendly? It\'s
really difficult to figure out how to correctly complete it. I had that
problem with the beta.

So now I try to connect to my server. I click the Check button...a status
window pops up to tell me it is checking the server. Then nothing. NO
ERROR, NO MESSAGE, NOTHING HAPPENS.

So the I try click the module check button. SAME PROBLEM. Says its
checking but nothing happens.

So I click \"Create\" next to module knowing that my module already is
there
in subversion. Well at least this time an error. It says the module is
bad. Well that would make sense.

So I try just clicking OK. It tells me the repository or module is not
valid. (Both are valid).

So basically I can not get your product to work at all.

And I\'m noticing that the last release was over two months ago and there
are a large # of resolved and pending tickets open for it.

When will you release a new version that perhaps corrects some of these
issues?

Thx.
