I think there no problem with this, except you should point correct
protocol in your CVSROOT:
) \"prasadk@nykcmss3600:/share/CVS_src/bnpsrc\" which works
I not deal with rhost protocol (we use pserver internally and :ext: or
:ssh: externally to access our linux repository), but think that your
CVSROOT should look like this:
:ext:prasadk@nykcmss3600:/share/CVS_src/bnpsrc
or may be
:rsh:prasadk@nykcmss3600:/share/CVS_src/bnpsrc

I downloaded a copy of "CVS SCC proxy plug-in v.1.2"
and was trying to connect to our CVS Server which is
hosted on unix and uses rhosts to connect to it.

My connection string is
"prasadk@nykcmss3600:/share/CVS_src/bnpsrc" which works
perfectly fine with the command line and WinCVS. But it
does not seem to work with CVS SCC Proxy. it keeps
giving the following error: CVSROOT "xxxx" must be an
absolute path" xxxx being the mentioned CVSRoot.

Can you help me with this? My intent is to buy this product if I can get it
to work and find it more intuitive than Win CVS.
