SVNURL has trailing / which causes invalid repository path

A trailing / seems to keep getting automatically placed on the end of the
SVNURL. Checking an SVNURL with the trailing / works fine, however if there
is a trailing / on the SVNURL, modules aren't checked correctly (the error
"svn: Couldn't determine repository path" is reported) and the module
browser also reports this error.

Removing the trailing / fixes this error however we seem to have to do this
every time which is annoying.
