SVN plugin creates a subfolder

( SVNSCC , VS .NET, 1.6.2, WIN 2000/XP, x86  )

This feature for work plug-in with IDE.
This ensures the correct working of IDE with version control system.
--> Oliver Kania (user)  at 15 Jun 09 06:00 writes

Whenever an existing project is added to version control from within
VS2005,
a subfolder with the project name is created automatically in the
repository.

E.g. I am adding a project named "Test" to "/path_to_repo/Test/trunk"
without creating a new module.
The project will be added in the folder "/path_to_repo/Test/trunk/Test"
("Test" being the automatically created folder)

This can be annoying when migrating projects, for example.
One does not always want a directory with the same name as the project.
For example, if the project is meant to be placed in a folder named
"Source".

The behavior of the plugin for VB6 is different -- no new directory is
created.

Regards, Oliver
