Project history does not display latest checkins

( SVNSCC , VS .NET, Latest, WIN 2000/XP  )
Type: Public Status:Closed Created: 20 Apr 05 04:00 Updated: 20 Apr 05 04:00

Ok, thank for accepting. Will wait for resolving this issue in future
release. As far as I know, version 1.2 of Subversion is going to release in
this month.

And thanks for good job - your SCC proxy is the best source control
provider for VS.NET over the world.

You are better wait for release of SVN of version 1.2 in which will be
corrected this and other errors. Version 1.2 of SVN will get some features
which will be important for IDE integration (for example reserved
checkout).

Why did you close this issue? Does this mean that this is not an error?
I'm pretty sure this is an error. I'm talking about project history rather
than file history. Project history as I undertstand must show the history
of changes over the whole project, including checking of others people,
not only me.

I also noticed, that you also closed my another issue #578 with the same
message "You are quite right. It is the feature of
SVN during work with a single file.". May be you just made a mistake?

If you still think this is not an issue to fix, could you please explain me
in details why? My company is currently uses CVS Proxy and I'm planning to
shit our development to SVN in this summer so I'm very interested in fixing
all the problems I can found which can block me using your software.

--> Oleg Akolupin (admin)  at 20 Apr 05 04:00 writes

You are quite right.
It is the feature of SVN during work with a single file.
--> Evgeny Zaritovsky (user)  at 20 Apr 05 04:00 writes

Here is the scenario:

1) Select any file, click history, switch to Project history mode. Note the
top row showing the latest checkin and its revision
(see attached pic1 - latest revision is 118)

2) change any file, make checking. next revision will be comitted into
repository.

3) open history on the file and ensure that on file history the new
revision is shown as the latest

4) switch to project history from file history and you will see that it
still shows the same as in point 1) - new revision just checked in is not
shown
(see attached pic2 - in file history latest revision is 119 while in
project history it's still 118)

Now you can do what you want - get latest version, close VS or anything
else - new revision will not be shown in project history.

I can make it be there only one way - using TortoiseSVN Update command.
When I do it and open ÌÛ again, I can see new revision in project history.

This is actually a very serisous bug.
Pic1 - everything is ok  Pic1 - bug! revision mismatch
