Progress Box doesn't disappear after checkin

After I checkin a subtree of my solution, the progress dialog box remains
on the screen. I usually perform another operation (like compare a file) to
work-around this issue and make the box go away. The proxy was performing a
status update at the time (ie I can see the last SVN commit and then I see
"fetching status").

I know when the checkin process has completed because I can select and
navigate within the solution even though the proxy progress box still
appears.
