Here are requested files from us:

First time:
start VC++ 4.0, open workspace window, close VC++ 4.0

Second time:
start VC++ 4.0, opened VCW file, close workspace, close VC4.0++
requested log from VC++ 4.0 Embedded with missing button  just for sure

The fastest way to find problem is to use the debug dll.
Download it here: http://www.pushok.com/files/PushokCVSSCC_21d.zip

Unzip to overwrite existing. You will find debuglog.txt near the dll.
Send it to me for analysis.
Thank you in advance.

Ehm, answer is yes and no.
Environment of VC++ 4.0 looks like VC++ 6.0, but Embedded VC++ 4.0 is for
development of application for mobile devices...
Because mobiles devices uses lot of different HW platforms, VC++ 4.0 comes
with more complex project file (for every HW platform different part) with
different name (I think VCP for project file). Also GUI is changed in way,
that you are able to switch platform and build application for chosen
platform (see attached picture). I hope these changes has no effect for
you...

Yes I think so. For isntance VS 6.0 does not know about new SCC API
1.3 option and we need to masquarade for it as plug-in supporting onlu
1.1 api. As I can remember "Embedded Visual C++ v4.0" looks like VS
6.0?

While testing new plugin RC1 candidate with VC++ 6.0 we have found, that
existing button in Embedded VC++ v4.0 has been removed (source control
button in open workspace).

Is is possible, that this behaviour is side effect of plugin 2.1 RC1?
Open workspace in VC++ 4.0 missing button  Push OK seems to be installled in Embedded VC 4.0++
