Divide existing library into 2 libraries

( Common )

It seems that this is a problem of PowerBuilder itself. I got the same
results with VSS.

Probably PowerBuilder can not detect that the object was removed from the
library in another working copy. After GLV it just thinks that this object
it not under source control anymore, because the corresponding PBG file
does not contain a reference to the object, but the object still exists in
the local PBL file.

I think there may be several ways to solve this problem.

1. You can remove unwanted objects from all the working copies manually.

2. You can delete unwanted objects in one working copy and distribute the
resulting PBL files to other working copies.

3. You should force PowerBuilder to rebuild PBL files, using only
information that is stored in the source control system (*.BPT, *.PBG and
*.SR? files). Unfortunately, I do not know the exact way to do it. In some
cases you can simply delete the PBL file of your library from the working
copy and execute "Get Latest Version..." (probably, you have to do GLV
several times). But there is no guarantee that this will work in your case.

We need your help now!
We are using PB 10.5
We have a library (including many objects) that has been added to cvs.
Now we try to divide it into 2 libraries: one keeps its original name, one
has new name.
Some objects now have been moved from original library to new library.

How can we do 'Get latest version' or 'Check out' ... with these libraries
without any conflict.
For example: when we do 'Get latest version' in original library, we still
see the object that has been already moved to new library.

Please help us!
