Major update of 'Pushok SVN SCC Proxy' plug-in, version 1.2 "with a half" released for preview

Download link: http://www.pushok.com/soft_download.php?idprogram=3

We glad to announce new version of our SVN SCC plug-in. We have spent
months of hard work rebuilding plug-in code from ground, for implementing
ability of direct usage of SVN client code.
All previous versions of SVN plug-in works similar to CVS plug-in,
being just a wrapper in command line client executable. It is obvious that
direct integration with client code should bring some additional
functionality and great speed improvement. And now we did this. Such
integration takes more time than we expect, specifically because at some
point we have decided to make it through COM. Instead of direct linking
with SVN code we have build intermediate COM objects which gracefully solve
any type, encoding and other language and libraries related problems.
Developed COM bindings will be published under GNU license as open source
according to the license of SVN. Such bindings can be found useful for
purposes of automation or any other usage. Specifically it is easy to
integrate SVN to windows application without any issues with compiling and
configuring SVN client code.
New version of plug-in is available now as Alpha version. It passes our
internal tests and we use it with our internal projects. However due to
full internal architecture redesign we not yet consider it useful for
production.
Stable version expected in 2-3 weeks depending on feedback and test
results we will have.
We expect that version will be much faster with previous, with better
support of complex authentication mechanisms and national characters. The
speed improvements mainly achieved by direct usage of SVN client code and
caching of authentication sessions. Even if version is in Alpha state we
very interested to know how much faster it will be in real environments.
Any found bugs and issues are also welcome.
We will appreciate any feedback.
