Powerbuilder 10.2.0 and SVN Proxy - Two workspaces

( SVNSCC , PowerBuilder, Latest, WIN 2000/XP  )
Type: Public Status:Closed Created: 20 Feb 06 02:00 Updated: 16 Jun 06 06:00

We are ___very___ sorry for delay, somehow your ticket miss us. So for you
question. It is not a problem to have two workspaces with PowerBuilder. If
the second one should be a branch thet the followin sequence should help:

1. Make a branch of your repository with means of command line client or
any other. Lets assume that after that one your project bound to something
like "http://server/repos/trunk/pbproj" and another to
"http://server/repos/branch/pbproj".

2. Then you have to follow steps desribed here:
http://www.pushok.com/help/cvsscc/index.php?redirect=basic_getfromscc.htm
As SVNSERVER you have to put http://server/repos/branch/ and as SVNMODULE
pbproj.

All is relatively simple, the main trick is to ensure that .svn (or _svn)
folder is deleted in another copy before opening another copy of workspace.
I.e. you copy to new location only pbl and pbt files.

I already have a repository for one Version (2.4) of our Powerbuilder
application with its own repository. I am now trying to add the next
version (2.5) of the application to Source Control in a separate
repository. Every time I specify the repository for the workspace (2.5) it
accepts the entries and they are stored correctly in the registry under
that powerbuilder workspace. If I reopen the workspace, the repository name
is then always the root of the previous version (2.4). It is as if I can
only specify one root URL. The entries in the registry for version 2.5 are
correct but are not being used.
Is it possible to have two workspaces with separate repositories, or must I
have on repository, and if so how do I keep the versions separate? I don't
want at the moment to take on branching, so I would prefer to just have two
repositories.

Thanks for any help,
Richard Sharp
