SVN Proxy 1.3.0 Wix Problems

( SVNSCC , VS .NET, Latest, WIN 2000/XP  )
Type: Public Status:Closed Created: 05 Feb 06 02:00 Updated: 06 Feb 06 02:00

P.S. The issue arises because both 1.2.5 and 1.3.0 have the same product
codes and starting 1.3.0 msi windows actually start installed previously
1.2.5 msi. 1.2.5 was considered as altha version and we not do anything
specific to prevent this. Sorry for inconvinience.

I am do believe that you also have installed 1.2.5 version which is also
have MSI installer. It was based on default WIX gui defenitions and has
mentioned issues. New version should work ok.

Hello,

I still had installed version 1.2 of your plugin and today downloaded the
new version. I tried to install it over the old version and had two
problems with this.

1. The second screen of the installer looks curious and confusing (see the
screenshot attached) and I asked myself wether to use the "modify" or
"repair" function to update the proxy. But the real problem with that
screen are the repair and remove buttons and their descriptions.

2. I used the modify button and when the progress bar reached about 50% an
error message popped up and was saying that some network problems occured
for MSI location "G:\Entwicklung\SVN" which is a partition of my second
(local) HDD. This caused a rollback. I copied the msi file to c:\ and tried
again, but the same error occured with that location.

I was able to install version 1.3.0 after uninstalling the old version.
