Sticky to Selection does not work at project level

( CVSSCC , PowerBuilder, 1.4.x, WIN XP, x64, UNIX  )
Type: Public Status:Closed Created: 26 Aug 09 08:00 Updated: 04 Sep 09 09:00

We found a work around for this. We can Get Latest Version from the target
by checking the Retrieve from Tag/branch option and selecting the
appropriate branch. By this all objects will stick to the selected branch.

Unfortunately we have no information on this situation.
Have you tried to use our new version of the plug-in? We have made many
changes, perhaps it works as you need.

There is no way to make the sticky to selection work at the project level.

Here are the steps to follow:
1. Rt click on the target (.pbt) and open the history (show history)
2. Select and highlight a branch (Say Branch1) and click sticky to
selection and close the history view
3. Rt click on an object (Say obj1)check out. Make some changes and check
in.
4. Rt click on the object (obj1) and open history view.
5. Observe that a new version will be created in the main branch and not in
the branch1.

6. Now click on the (Branch1) in the Object's (obj1) history view and press
Sticky to selection.
7. Close the history view, checkout, make some changes and check in the
object (obj1).
8. Observe that a new version will be created in the branch (branch1).

Is there any way in which sticky to selection can be set at the project (or
target) level so that it is not necessary to repeat the steps when checking
out each object?

Thanks & Regards,
