Server Options / Default Button crashes if CVSROOT has port# v1.3 latest

( CVSSCC , VS .NET, 1.3.x, WIN 2000/XP, UNIX  )

This is fixed in RC2

Thanks Igor, however I *just* downloaded the installer today, so I'm not
sure the crash is fixed. Glad to hear it is OK elsewhere.

Btw, v1.3 even on unix server feels faster to me. Thanks!

The port numbers is the valid field for CVSROOT. I not see any problems
to use it.
The server options page, is the page where some _server specific_
options can be configured. For example "Check file name case on
server" is required for unix server but not needed for CVS NT server
running on windows. I belive the crash already fixed. We update
version 2 days ago, but not change the version.

We are using two CVS servers, one on port 2401, and one on port 2402. This
allows us to test new similar versions concurrently.

This issue relates (at least) to the Server options page of the PushOK CVS
Proxy properties of the new 1.3 release candidate 1.

Select CVSROOT=

:pserver:userid@cvshost:2402/home/cvs

Then clicking 'Default' causes a general protection fault. ****

Additionally saving the properties, although not crashing, does not
actually save the above url.

I don't think CVS Proxy is parsing port numbers correctly. We really need
this to be in place so we can effectively test CVS version upgrades and
maybe someday reach CVS NT :)

Does Push OK's main plugin functionality understand these embedded port
numbers?
