Rename folder

( CVSSCC )

I am sure that plug-in not lock any files or folders. This can be done
in VS.NET or for example this can make WinCVS.
However, you should be aware from renaming folders that are under
SourceControl. If you rename them only on local path, this will not
have effect for repository, and when you next time pull project
original names will be restored.
If for some reason you _really_ need to rename folder, you should
rename it in CVS repository, and pull code from CVS then.
May be if you describe reason why you need rename something I can
provide more help.

Hi,

I'm using PushOK CVS Proxy for quite a while.

I have a problem when trying to rename folders that are part of the CVS
rep. from inside VS.Net 2003. I always get:
---------------------------
Microsoft Development Environment
---------------------------
Cannot rename ''.The process cannot access the file because it
is being used by another process.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
The only process that uses the folder is the VS.Net process, and it seems
that CVSProxy is using the folder and not VS as any rename on a folder not
part of the CVSRep works fine. I hoped that CVSProxy will be able to do
under-the-scene rename of folders by doing all the necessary operations but
it seems it's not doing that.

Do you have any workaround for this problem? Can you make a fix for it
maybe?

Thanks,
Corneliu.
