Generally yes, unix_cvs will work better (faster). But it is more
important, to avoid any unexpected problems, use same cvs client for
all GUI clients you use. So, using the cvs.exe from Tortoise is the
good also.

Sorry, forgot to indicate CVSSCC 1.3, last 1.x version available in web.
It seems to work now, I changued cvs client to the one included in
tortoise.
I've seen unix_cvs is included in pushok folder.
I assume it would be better if I use that in case we have a unix cvs server
?

We use cvs server under linux, with ssh.
Authetification method in repository is :ext:
Visual Studio hangs, when triyng to bind projects.
It hangs when checking connection, to provided cvsroot.

Any suggestion about ssh clients parameters to use ?
Any hint ?
