There are at least two solutions that we suggest for switching. First is
safe but not very convenient. This is usage or SccSwitcher utility which is
shipped with installation (you can launch it from Programs menu). It allows
statically switch active provider which is loaded by IDE on its startup. To
switch from one provider to another you can right click on SccSwitcher Icon
in tray area and choose active provider.
Another solution is to use SccDispatcher utility which makes possible
transparent switching. You can download it here:
http://www.pushok.com/soft_sccdispatcher.php. However even we use it, and
also know that some others use to it usage considered experimental.

I have been using Visual Sourcesafe for much of my work. Now I am switching
to CVSSCC Proxy and CVS. The problem is that I need to switch between the
two. One thought is to make CVS for Visual Studio.net and the SourceSafe
for Visual Studio 6. If this works, that is okay, but ideally I would like
to be able to just switch IDE integration easily...
