Error when opening any single project

( CVSSCC )
Type: Public Status:Closed Created: 17 Jun 04 06:00 Updated: 20 Jun 04 06:00
--> Igor Pushkov (admin)  at 20 Jun 04 06:00 writes

Please slightly clarify situation. As I know such error message only
appears when opened solution or project which was added to CVS but
then pulled from CVS not from IDE. I.e. WinCVS or Tortoise used to
pull project from CVS. If you get this message exactly for this
situation just use "Open from source control" in IDE.
Basically this error message means nothing bad, because IDE can
regenerate .suo file. Only exception is WebProjects, which will fail
to open such way.
So, always use "Open from source control" from IDE.

I added my projects to CVS via "Add Selected Projects" not as a whole
solution. But when I open any single project I get the attaced error
message. I click ok and things work fine but it is annoying and is making
it hard to sell my dev team on using CVS and buying 6 more licenses of the
software.

Thanks
Josh Handel
