You use *UNIX cvs server. And more other think that you configure
plug-in to use cvs.exe from your server (or any other, but not shipped
with plug-in).
Our plug-in have options "Reserved checkout" (off by default) and
"Reserved checkout for binary files" (on by default). When this option
in effect (for you case for binary file) we use "edit -c", which
permit file checkout if it is edited by others (reserved checkout
mode).
Problem is that this option supported only by CVS NT cvs.exe
client. If you use other cvs.exe you should switch off both options
"Reserved checkout".
As alternative you will see "editors warning" when will try to
check out already edited file. But option switched off by default and
you should switch it on.
