Access crashed when added a lot of objects to repository

( SVNSCC , Access2003 SP3, 1.5.1.1, WIN 2000/XP  )

Thanks a lot!

With the new DLL I was able to import the whole MDB into SVN. Everything
seems fine.

Please download this file, unzip and overwrite existing.

http://www.pushok.com/files/temp/svncom_1511r.zip

This should solve the problem of the large consumption of memory during the
operation of adding many objects.
--> Alexander Somov (admin)  at 10 Feb 09 02:00 writes

Right now I can say that the problem is not in Access, high memory
consumption is caused by our plug-in. I'm working on this issue and hope it
will be resolved soon.
--> kruse+shareit (user)  at 10 Feb 09 02:00 writes

Getting no answer I installed the hotfix and tested again - still the same
result.

The memory usage is constant for a long time while access is exporting the
queries and then it rises in about 70 seconds from < 100 MB to more than 1
GB. Finally access crashes. :(

What do do now?

Hi!

With Acccess 2003 SP3 installed, I cannot test with SP2.

The "Access 2003 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix" ist not installed. Should I
install and try again?
--> Alexander Somov (admin)  at 19 Jan 09 01:00 writes

Could you check whether there is the same behavior in Access 2003 SP2? Do
you have "Access 2003 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix" (
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/945674 ) installed? Thanks in advance!

Hi!
After 4 weeks waiting, is there any solution for this case? Or do you need
any more information?

The fastest way to find problem is to use the debug dlls.
Download them here:
http://www.pushok.com/files/temp/sccapi_svn1300d.zip

http://www.pushok.com/files/temp/svncom_151d.zip

http://www.pushok.com/files/temp/PushokSVNSCC_1513d.zip

Unzip to overwrite existing. You will find debuglog.txt and
protocollog.txt near the dll.
Send them to me for analysis.
Thank you in advance.

Hi!
When adding only few objects to repository, every seems fine. But already
in this case, the memory consumption of access raises significantly.
After closing access and starting again, memory usage is low again.

But when I try to add several hundert (of my thousands) queries, access
crashes.
I don't know if svnscc or access is the reason for this behaviour, perhaps
you can give me a hint. You're my last hope!!!

Message is:
